I am a trauma-informed, certified lifestyle medicine physician, and a life design coach with specialized training in non-violent communication. I am also a certified yoga and meditation teacher. And, I identify “books” as one of my love languages. I’ve read hundreds of personal development, psychology and spiritual books along my own journey.
My background is as a pathologist. I am a physician by training, but I learned along the way that being healthy is not just about not being sick – it’s about vibrant wellbeing. Confidently knowing who we are and what we are up to in life, and why, and then taking steps to create that life, allows us to live a life of meaning and purpose, which contributes greatly to our overall health and happiness.
But sometimes things look perfect on the outside and not so great on the inside. I know exactly what that feels like. I looked like a perfect professional “success” to the world, but I felt stressed and empty on the inside. Like so many women, I reached a point where I asked myself, “Why am I not happy? I SHOULD be happy. I have everything I have worked for for so many years.”
